Glock 26 Factory Extractor

After my friend had failure to extract problems on his Glock 26 pistol, and after much research and evaluation, he replaced his original factory extractor with a Lone Wolf extractor in hopes of fixing his problems.

Pictures Of The Factory Glock 26 Extractor

Here are some pictures of the original factory extractor. Judge for yourself about the quality and workmanship of the part. Ignore the red paint on the tip as this was placed there to differentiate it from others.

The pictures show no obvious defects on the part, but the tip of the claw seems to be rounded off, presumably from wear.

After replacing the extractor and shooting half a box of ammo with the new one, it seemed that the problem was fixed. Then another failure to extract occurred. Apparently the extractor was not the problem after all. More investigation to come.
